We are a busy cabinet shop specializing in custom cabinetry and woodworking. We're looking to add a reliable and experienced Part-Time CNC Operator to our team. This position is ideal for someone looking for additional income or those already employed full-time but seeking a flexible part-time role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC for precise cuts and measurements.
- Set up and load materials onto CNC.
- Ensure CNC is working efficiently and troubleshoot any issues.
- Perform quality control checks on finished products.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience operating a CNC in a woodworking or cabinet shop environment.
- Must have experience with VCarve Pro software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine maintenance.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
