Applicants must have experience in the Restoration/Construction Industry i.e. Water Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation, Fire Damage. The primary duties of this position include conducting on-site building inspections, preparing Xactimate estimates, experience with various insurance guidelines for estimating, etc.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Residential and Commercial property estimating using Xactimate software
Primary company contact with Property Owner, Clients, Insurance Claims Personnel, and Consultants
Develop estimates pursuant to Estimating Standard, including creation of accurate floor plans in Xactimate
Work closely in a team environment with Project Coordinators, Office Staff, and Management
Qualifications and Requirements
Must have Xactimate estimating experience
Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
Knowledge of Building Codes and OSHA requirements
Demonstrated Xactimate competence as follows:
Create accurate multiple sketches with multi-level buildings and roof sketches
Create unit pricing estimates for all construction trades
Ability to identify potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.)
High level of customer service skills
