As a European Automotive Technician, you’ll perform assigned vehicle repairs as, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Attention to detail is a valuable asset to the team to ensure repairs are completed on time and deliver quality repairs and services to please our clients. In this role, you’ll interact daily with Service Advisors, other Technicians, Managers and occasionally with clients.

Daily Responsibilities:

-Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive client loyalty.

-Communicating with Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and client communication.

-Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the client.

-Conducting digital multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of client vehicles.

-Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.

-Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Shop as “special tools.”

-Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

-Performing test drives in order to properly diagnose vehicles and effectively verify repairs made.

Minimum Job Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent

-3 years of previous experience as a professional automotive technician/mechanic.

-General Mechanical skills, manual dexterity and capable of operating power and hand tools, and other types of machinery and diagnostic equipment.

-Deadline and detail-oriented

-Organization and follow-up skills

-Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

-Valid in-state driver’s license, and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

-ASE certifications (Preferred)

-OHSA 609 certification (Preferred)
