Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well with a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including engine performance, suspension systems, etc.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues and ensure accuracy in repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and shop standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior mechanics, as needed.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Arrive to work on time, consistently
- Shift schedule: 8am - 5pm: Monday to Saturday
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience as an automotive mechanic in a professional repair shop.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and automotive tools.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
