We are looking for a Lead Finish Carpenter/ Cabinet Installer

We pay weekly! $25-45 pending experience and fit with our company. 6 years construction and finish carpentry experience REQUIRED. Full time or part time. A driver’s license and dependable vehicle required. Must have ALL of your own tools. Only text & email messages responded to. Two (2) references and work experiences required. We are hiring a person that will be conscious of the value of their skill and workability within the team in the effort to add to make us a stronger and more versatile skilled team. Valley Builders is a small family-based company we do not operate like a corporation, and we are not looking for the corporate employee mentality.
Specific skills expected:
1. Base/Trim and Molding/Crown Installation: Installing baseboards, crown moldings, window casings, chair rails, and other decorative trim pieces with precision and attention to detail.
2. Custom Cabinetry/RTAs and Built-ins: Assembling, building, and installing custom cabinets, shelving units, entertainment centers, and other built-in features to maximize storage and complement the overall design of the space.
3. Door and Window Installation: Expertly fitting and hanging doors, including exterior entry doors, interior doors, and closet doors. Installing window frames, sills, and casings.
4. Finishing Touches: Applying wood stains, varnishes, or paints to enhance the appearance and protect the woodwork. Sanding and refinishing existing wood surfaces to restore their beauty.
5. Basic framing and build outs such as fireplace features and islands
6. Custom Woodworking: Crafting unique and intricate woodwork features, such as mantels, wainscoting, decorative wall panels panels, and custom furniture pieces.
7. Quality Control: Conducting thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, precision, and durability.
8. Reading Blueprints and Specifications: Interpreting architectural plans and specifications to accurately execute the desired design elements.
9. Collaboration and Communication: Ability to and when needed working clients, interior designers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of finish carpentry within the overall project.
10. Willingness to help and train younger willing and teachable individuals to work with you as the small team lead.
