Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low voltage systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with field service experience and a strong background in electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Duties:
- Install low voltage systems such as security systems, card access, CCTV and other related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on low voltage systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with low voltage systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful installation and operation of low voltage systems
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all installations and repairs
- Document all work performed, including system design changes and updates
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including security systems, card access, CCTV and other related equipment
- Proficiency in electrical work and understanding of electrical codes and regulations
- Experience working as a service technician or in a similar field service role
- Familiarity with hand tools used in the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for system design purposes
- Possession of any relevant certifications or licenses for low voltage work
