Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Preventive Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in thorough inspections, and is eager to learn more about gate automation and access control systems.
You’ll be responsible for performing regular maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on gate operators and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on automated gate systems and access control equipment.
Conduct detailed inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
Clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical and electrical components as needed.
Document maintenance activities and report findings accurately.
Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repair projects when needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and general construction practices.
Previous experience in gate automation, access control, or related fields is a plus.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
