Established utility company looking for qualified Formen and Pipe-layers with experience in underground utility Sewer mains, Water mains, RPPA installations, Water Service Installations, storm-drain pipes, boxes and culverts, NV energy electrical conduit and facility work and Century Link conduit work.
Formans need at least 8 years underground experience, must have OSHA 30 card, the following cards are a bonus but not required, Current dust card, competent person card, and state fire marshal card. Must have clean DMV print out and ability to drive a utility work truck. Formans must have strong leadership skills, ability to push crews and keep projects on schedule. Must have knowledge in reading and understanding blue prints and specific job related specifications, ability to due job take-off's, plan ahead and manage a crew to be productive and efficient. Ability to prepare accurate job daily reports and complete time cards for crew. Must have ability to schedule and work with inspectors to complete work correct and to all appropriate standards and codes.
Pipe layers must have OSHA 10 Card, 5-10 years experience with knowledge in LVVWD UDAC's , Knowledge in Uniform Standards for waste water collection, Storm drain pipe and box culvert installation. Ability to work with grades, understand and read grade stakes, ability to set-up and properly use grade control equipment such as lasers and levels.
