Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must possess valid NV driver's license, subject to a 5-panel drug test
Hermes Delivery Service (HDS) helpers are responsible for optimizing Amazon customers’ satisfaction by assisting with transporting and delivering goods, merchandise and/or other items in a safe and timely manner. The duties of a Helper entail picking up, transporting, dropping off and occasionally assembling and/or unboxing large packages, shipments and other items within the western United States region; primarily operating within the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Helpers may deliver to homes, retail locations, rural areas and other destinations while assisting Drivers along their routes through navigation, operation of technology and monitoring assigned time schedules, among other tasks as needed. This position includes the potential of transitioning to a Driver role.
Delivering items in a safe, polite and timely way to Amazon customers
Assisting drivers with all aspects of the on-the-road delivery operations on a live reaction basis
Contacting customers, co-workers and/or Amazon staff to verify, assist with and/or confirm delivery status
Loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles and station equipment according to company guidelines
Occasionally unboxing and/or unpackaging delivery items under the direction and guidance of the customer
Delivering packages on foot or by vehicle to residences, businesses and locations within the Las Vegas area
Ability to lift and carry items and/or packages (as part of a team) of various dimensions up to 300 lbs.
Must be able to routinely traverse areas with elevation changes. (e.g., ascending stairs, climbing into vehicles, etc.)
Communicating with dispatchers and/or Amazon associates about deliveries
Assisting drivers with the documentation of deliveries wielding HDS provided technology, devices and services
Completing and demonstrating mastery of assigned trainings and workplace educational courses
Adhering to all HDS company policies while performing duties within the parameters established by Amazon
Performing various related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or administrative staff

Pay: $17.00 per hour
