Functions:
Business Transactions
reconcile multiple bank and credit card accounts
manage Accounts Payable
prepare biweekly payroll
Accounts Receivable
prepare Accounts Receivable
prepare and compile client billings on a bi-weekly basis for architectural and construction services
upon review by principals send to clients
manage Accounts Receivable
communicate reminders to clients
assess finance charges
issue statements on unpaid balances
Budgeting / Estimating
work with owners to prepare accurate project budgets
manage operational and project budgets
Financial Reporting
prepare and interpret accurate financial statements
work with owners in interpreting and managing finances
work with owners and outside accountancy firm to develop strategies for financial well-being
Tax Preparation
file all monthly, quarterly and annual employer tax returns and payments
file all sales tax returns and payments
assist the owner and outside accountancy firm to prepare annual business tax returns

Logistics:
Requirements
college level accounting coursework
proficiency in Quickbooks
basic computer literacy including fundamental skills in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Preferences
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or closely related field
background or interest in real estate, planning, architecture, construction, interiors, or art
