KENO RUNNER/WRITER
Summary: Assists in the operation of Keno/Sports Book games by offering play to restaurant patrons, collecting bets and paying winnings to patrons accurately and professionally.
Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned).
Walks through food and beverage outlets in a timely manner, answering questions about Keno rules and casino policies.
Collects outside keno tickets and bets from patrons, providing good customer service.
Ensures that all patrons have placed their bets before game begins.
Starts gaming equipment to randomly select numbered Keno balls.
Announces the number of each ball selected until number of balls specified for each game are selected.
Scans tickets, calculates amount of winnings and returns to food outlet to pay winners.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years
One year of Keno experience highly desirable
Able to effectively communicate in the English language.
High School level math.
Basic Computer skills
Ability to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Registration at the time of hire
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk or hear and taste or smell.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout duration of shift.
Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
Vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to focus.
Able to work in a noisy, smoky casino environment for up to 8 hours per shift
