Description Robert Half has joined forces with a well-respected company to look for a team-oriented Bookkeeper for immediate hire. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. The short-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper will work in the Reno, Nevada area.What you get to do every day
Be responsible for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Preside over and review general ledger
Review payments received and record deposits
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents
Assemble financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information Requirements - Experience using accounting software
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
