Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a contract for a Customer Service Representative role in the manufacturing industry based in Reno, Nevada. This role involves processing customer requests, maintaining effective communication with clients, and handling inquiries with attention to detail and accuracy.Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer orders, changes, and cancellations received directly from customers or sales personnel Respond promptly and positively to customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution of customer concerns Collaborate with sales managers and supply chain department to review customer forecasts and ensure timely delivery of shipments Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and credit applications Proactively seek opportunities to improve system processes through team collaboration and data cleansing Provide support to management with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting Keep supervisors and managers informed about customer developments Handle return authorizations, freight billing, and provide proof of deliveries and product samples as requested Manage customer crises swiftly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction Use your typing skills and knowledge of MRP ERP systems to maintain accurate customer records and process credit applications. Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer service role, preferably within the manufacturing industry Proficient in 10 Key Skills Demonstrated ability in data and order entry Experience in taking and processing customer orders Proven ability to assist customers and provide superior customer service Knowledge of freight costs and associated logistics Typing speed of 45 to 60 words per minute required Familiarity with MRP ERP systems Possesses effective communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding of fulfillment processes within a manufacturing environment Ability to manage and optimize workflow processes.
