Description Robert Half is seeking a Grants Specialist for a non profit in Downtown Reno. The Grants Specialist will play a critical role in overseeing the financial aspects of the grant funding, ensuring proper tracking of expenditures, and compliance with grant terms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving their community and a strong background in financial management within the nonprofit sector.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive grant budgets, ensuring alignment with grant requirements and organizational goals.
Track grant expenditures and ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses.
Monitor budgetary performance against grant allocations and identify any variances or discrepancies.
Review grant agreements and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, including reporting requirements, allowable expenses, and timelines.
Collaborate with program staff to ensure that grant-funded activities are carried out in accordance with grant guidelines and regulations.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports for grantors, including budget-to-actual analysis and narrative explanations.
Ensure timely submission of grant reports and other documentation required for grant renewals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for grantors regarding financial matters, responding to inquiries and providing requested information.
Cultivate positive relationships with grantors to support ongoing funding opportunities and collaboration.
