This rapid growth equals rapid career advancement opportunities for those who want to be challenged and enjoy a fast-paced, high-performance culture.As the Senior Manager of Validation and Test Infrastructure, you will play a critical in building out the safety infrastructure at Generac.Location: Reno NVResponsibilities

Lead infrastructure development of all validation, NPI, and compliance lab activities.

Own safety in infrastructure build out and execution of validation in labs.

Directly support validation and compliance execution.

Lead functional safety and FMEA development for product design.

Develop schedules and first principles-based validation and infrastructure build out plans. Energize the team to hit incremental milestones and lead multi-domain infrastructure and validation/compliance execution spanning mechanical, thermal, system test, and firmware/hardware integration with functional safety with related engineering teams.

Lead the development and delivery of battery/electrical safety training programs for employees, contractors, and partners.

Communicate technical safety and compliance requirements to design teams, product managers, and operations.

Participate in infrastructure and equipment design reviews to ensure risk mitigation is properly implemented.

Establish yourself as a leader and help to solve ambiguous and complex safety problems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering

10 years’ experience with equipment/infrastructure design and safety

10 years’ experience in functional safety and FMEA development for products and validation processes

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders.

Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
