Galilee Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center is a sanctuary cultivating compassion, curiosity, and community, plus we are a lot of fun! Our tiny but mighty team is currently seeking to hire an Assistant Chef. This position will be a full time hourly position starting on April 1st. Responsibilities include preparing meals for groups ranging in size between 20-75 in a family style setting. As a kitchen that cooks from scratch, and does our best to buy local and organic products, you will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and serving meals as well as directing our small kitchen staff. Other duties include helping with the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen, as well as filling in where needed to help support other areas of camp. The pay range is between $28.00 to $35.00 DOE. Additional benefits include contributions to a retirementaccount up to 13% with a 5% employee match, 2 weeks of vacation after a year of work, and employee meals while groups are in session.
