to pour.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and service-focused part-time Bartender/Server to join our
front-of-house team. This hybrid role requires strong beverage knowledge, excellent tableside
service skills, and a refined sense of hospitality to match the standard of our guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
● Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, sake, tea, and other beverages in accordance
with our menu and style.
● Provide knowledgeable and attentive table service, including explaining menu items and
making thoughtful recommendations.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service stations.
● Execute drink orders swiftly and consistently during service.
● Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns promptly.
● Maintain inventory and assist with bar prep and restocking as needed.
● Handle payments accurately using POS systems.
● Collaborate with the host and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications:
● 2+ years of experience as a bartender or server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
● Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, sake, and tea; Japanese beverage experience a plus.
● Ability to memorize ingredients and confidently explain dishes and drink pairings.
● Poised, personable, and attentive under pressure.
● Must be 21+ with valid CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification.
● Open availability, including weekends and holidays.
