Server/Bartender
Job Summary:
Provides both bar and table service, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves taking food and drink orders, mixing and serving beverages, managing inventory, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
​Greet and seat customers, taking orders for food and drinks
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requests
Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements
Provide recommendations on menu items, including beverages
Serve food and beverages to tables
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Clear and reset tables and bar efficiently
Ensure a positive dining experience by delivering excellent customer service
Build rapport with guests to enhance their experience
Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
Adhere to food safety and quality regulations
Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
Follow established health and safety guidelines
Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
Adheres to strict opening and closing procedures
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Availability Wednesday & Thursday afternoons and Saturday & Sunday evenings at minimum required for this opening.
Applicants must be comfortable working regular Server/Bartender shifts in addition to administrative duties.
Preferred:
2+ years experience in bartending and/or serving
CA RBS certified
CA Serve Safe
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible alcohol service
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
