ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ HR COORDINATOR FOR CONSTRUCTION OFFICE
A growing construction contractor in Reno, Nevada is seeking an administrative professional/ human resources coordinator to be a great member of our team! This member will assist with a variety of tasks such as light reception, job records, employee correspondence and record keeping, payroll duties, employee device distribution, and filing. English/ Spanish bilingual is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated quick learner with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
Reception (very light call and walk in volume)
Employee correspondence and record keeping
Medical, dental, 401K enrollment
Time tracking and job records
Payroll input and distribution
Employee device set up and management
Employee uniform inventory and distribution
Email management
Administrative duties including filing, correspondence, project paperwork, schedule coordination, errand running, etc.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
Strong verbal and writing skills in English and Spanish
General office skills
Detail oriented and thorough completion of tasks in a timely manner
Organized and efficient
Multi-tasking, especially during high pressure times with large workload volume
Respond to requests in a timely manner
Strong computer skills
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Working knowledge of QuickBooks
Ability to learn new software and web based applications quickly
Valid driver's license
English/ Spanish bilingual
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of design/ construction field
Human resources experience
Administrative assistance experience
Proficient with technology
