**Apartment Manager with Maintenance Skills**
A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and team leader with demonstrated written communication skills. Must possess computer skills, excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work with little supervision. We are seeking someone who is driven for success and pursues personal and professional development. You must be a self-starter and work efficiently with little to no supervision. Maintenance skills are REQUIRED and you will need your own tools.
Maintenance duties include but not limited to:
* Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge
* Carpentry and drywall repair experience
* Interior and exterior painting experience
* Applicance trouble shooting and repair a plus
* Keep grounds neat and free of litter
* Prepare apartment for occupancy including painting, cleaning and repair in a timely manner
* Perform repair requests in a timely and professional manner
Other responsibilities include:
* Ability to manager multiple tasks at a given time
* Clear understanding of all basic office equipement - fax machine, printer, etc.
* Exceptional customer service and sales ability
* Show and lease apartments
* Complete reports and serve notices as required
* Bank deposits and rent rolls
* Ability to successfully handle conflict with both residents and fellow employees
* Ability to use discretion and maintain comfidentiality
* Required to maintain a regular schedule with some weekend and after hours for emergencies
**Applicant MUST be able to pass a background check and must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation**
This is a full time position Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
