Major Responsibilities
Load and Unload appliances using hand trucks.
Ride along with Truck Driver to help deliver and install appliances
Train, motivate and coach personnel; work with department manager to resolve personnel issues
Help in creating loading schedules Keep track of inventory using inventory management software Do cycle counts Submit loads for pickup We deliver appliances and furniture.
Skills/Characteristics Desired
Must be able to make quick decisions based on understanding of operational needs in a fast paced environment
Ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
Ability to lead employees in a safe and productive manner
Ability to react positively to rapidly changing priorities
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
Demonstrated initiative and an eagerness to drive continuous improvement
Education & Experience
Must have at least 1 years similar experience in a high volume warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory management, warehouse lead
Ability to operate dolly/hand truck.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours
Monday-Friday from 6am to 6pm. some overtime is required.
