Equine Therapy program located in south Reno is looking to add a Barn Manager to our TEAM!
Are you ready to put your STRONG horse skills – riding/training/general horse care & knowledge – to work?!
Positions is part-time, weekday mornings, with some flexibility.
Barn Manager (20 – 25 hours per week) works with program Directors to determine/implement the comprehensive care of 9+ program horses. This includes:
Evaluate/oversee feed & supplements
Determine & implement schooling/exercising of program horses
Schedule & oversee veterinarian/farrier/chiropractic care
Interface with Friends coordinator to see that horses receive required daily care
Oversee the maintenance of horse tack and ancillary gear
Oversee and directing the Barn Assistant, scheduling them for assigned tasks
Other tasks as directed
