Overview
EnerTek LLC is seeking a motivated, self-employed Project Installer to support Phase One of a multi-year control and automation project located about two hours north of Reno, NV.
Work begins early November 2025 and will total 40–50 workdays before year-end, with additional phases scheduled for 2026 and beyond.
All specialized tools, safety gear, and required training will be provided and paid for by EnerTek.
If you lack reliable transportation, a Ford F-150 work truck will be made available for project use.
Absolute Requirements
Valid driver’s license — required for operating site vehicles and travel to the project location.
Positive, can-do attitude — proactive, dependable, and able to maintain momentum even in remote or challenging environments.
Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal; must be able to report clearly, coordinate with supervisors, and communicate field updates professionally.
Proficiency with computers — capable of preparing daily reports, updating spreadsheets, managing checklists, and submitting site documentation with photos or notes.
Experience on large-scale construction or industrial projects — familiarity with professional safety standards, multi-discipline coordination, and field documentation.
Reliable and punctual self-starter — able to complete assigned tasks independently and keep progress on schedule.
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working safely outdoors in variable conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed professionals with installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
Support mechanical assembly, alignment, and inspection of equipment, panels, and enclosures.
Follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation standards with precision.
Maintain organized, safe, and well-documented work areas, including daily reports and photos.
Participate in EnerTek-provided training programs covering safety, tools, and technical systems.
Communicate proactively with the site and project management team to ensure work remains coordinated and efficient.
