Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Erosion Control Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of a variety of erosion control Best Management Practices (BMPs) at construction sites. This is a hands-on position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Install various erosion control measures, such as silt fences, straw wattles, inlet protection devices, and erosion control blankets
Perform minor site preparation activities, such as leveling ground and removing debris
Maintain existing erosion control measures by repairing tears, replacing damaged materials, and ensuring proper functionality
Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials in an eco-friendly manner
Assist with daily inspections of erosion control measures
Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications:
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, and bending
Valid driver's license (preferred)
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to learn and follow instructions quickly
