Bruce Olson Construction is currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician for immediate hire. The ideal candidate will be dependable, and detail oriented with reliable transportation. Candidate must be able to be added to company auto insurance policy, pass a drug and background check.
Duties and responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
knowledge of Lutron Systems is a plus.
Must be able to interpret blueprints and manufacturer's specifications
May be required to Work with and train and instruct apprentice-level electricians
Ability to complete tasks efficiently with attention to detail
Be able to follow the leads instructions
Use equipment and tools properly and safely.
Be able to complete other duties if they are assigned.
Ability to help with Take offs and Inventory.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be able to pass a background and drug test
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, use hands for 6+ hours
Must have reliable transportation in order to get to the jobsite
OSHA 10 Preferred
Additional Position Details
Full time
40 Hours per week - additional hours may be required to perform the role.
Will be required to work at jobsites in the Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Lake Tahoe areas, with Lake Tahoe being the primary job location.
Essential Function Requirements
This job requires the ability to physically move around a job site. Applicant should expect to be exposed to construction site conditions including rough terrain, ladders, equipment noise, and heights as well as local climate and weather.
Applicants should expect to do a considerable amount of lifting, carrying, climbing, kneeling, and balancing. Certain amounts of strength, dexterity, and alternates are required.
