Lovely 81 year old woman recovering for a stroke needs a housemate who can assist with simple things like opening packages, (she only has the use of one hand) light housekeeping, grocery shopping, general household help. In return you will have a private room and bath on the second floor of the house along with a lounge loft area, garage parking space and use of vehicle. This is the perfect position for a remote worker, part time traveling nurse or another senior who is healthy and mobile, to have a cost free, beautiful living space along with the clubhouse, gym, golf and pool facilities of Somerset. The family is very involved with the care of this beloved family member, but with everyone working full time - we need a reliable companion for my mom. We can offer assistance for days off and your personal activities etc and once we understand her needs a part time job outside the home may be possible for the right person. Mom wants to live in her home and is capable of doing so - we just would feel better if she had someone living with her. If more than 10 hours a week are required we are prepared to pay $20 per hour for additional duties.
