Are you looking for carpentry work in the North Lake Tahoe & Truckee area? We are a small, established construction business, dedicated to quality work and client satisfaction specializing in remodels, finish work, and decks. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated full-time lead carpenter with over 5 years of experience to play a pivotal role in our growing team as well as an entry level carpentry position.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise projects from start to finish, ensuring top-notch workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meticulously plan and execute carpentry tasks.
Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to exceed project goals and expectations.
Mentor and train junior carpenters, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and building codes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive expertise in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and finishing.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with precision and attention to detail.
Strong leadership skills with a knack for motivating and guiding teams toward achieving project milestones.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring efficient project execution.
Positions available:
Carpenter - Entry-level position 2-3 yrs experience, requires fundamental carpentry skills, a willingness to learn and owns basic carpentry tools.
Journeyman Carpenter - Requires 5+ years of experience, proficiency in carpentry techniques, and the ability to work independently, owns tools required for journeyman level work.
