We are currently looking for Production Operators!
2ND SHIFT ONLY schedule starting time at 2:30PM
Operator Pay Range $22.80/hour and up, based on experience. 2nd shift employees receive an additional $1.50/hr. shift differential.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for ensuring that the machinery on the production line is operating accurately, efficiently, safely and documenting various tasks. Must be able to troubleshoot problems and expedite corrections to maximize performance on the line.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicate with appropriate parties on forecast of production day.
Must be capable of performing all job functions necessary to operate equipment.
Understand specific product specifications and double check that finished product meet production requirements.
Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed when operating equipment.
Ensure that all safety switches and E-tops are function properly.
Troubleshoot when problems occur with machinery. Notify appropriate parties when unable to ascertain problem.
Notify appropriate parties when there is a safety concern or safety equipment is not operating properly.
Observe equipment when it is operational (do not leave running unattended)
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
At least six months as a Machine Operator and at least six months of forklift experience.
Driver's license may be required.
Great attitude and reliability.
Spanish is a plus!
REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a warehouse/production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low as 32 degrees (typically 45-55 degrees). Noise level in the production environment may require the use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long periods of time frequently twisting, turning, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting material up to 50lbs.
