We are currently seeking to fill the position of Tire Technician. In this position you will be tasked with:
Studs tires in preparation for snow, and also in anticipation of weather change
Performs drivability on tires to confirm their durability and possible cause of failure
Ensures that minimum standard of safety is maintained
Maintains a clean work area that meets minimum environmental requirements’ regulations
Ensures appropriate dismounting and mounting of tires
Be able to detect unusual tire wear and identify if brakes are worn and in need of repair or replacement
Possess physical strength to be able to lift heavy items
A valid driver’s license and a good record of driving
Effective interpersonal skills
Strong ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
Good problem-solving skills
Proven time management, organization, and ability to work effective within a team setting
Ability to display professionalism, maintain quality focus, and pay attention to detail
