WINDOW & DOOR INSTALLER – FULL TIME
We are looking for a responsible, dependable individual with experience installing and servicing vinyl, wood, and/or fiberglass windows and patio doors. This is a full-time position with the primary responsibility of installation, but you will also be assigned other duties as needed. All work must meet company and AAMA standards.
Ability to speak fluent English required.
Primary Responsibilities:
Install windows and patio doors to specification
Perform general and complex window and door adjustments
Identify and replace faulty components
Read and interpret instructions, sales orders, and plans accurately
Work safely and independently with minimal supervision
Deliver jobs on time and within budget
Additional Duties May Include:
Unloading trucks
Making and installing window/door screens (SLA - Screen Lube Adjust)
Deliveries
Shop maintenance and miscellaneous tasks
Vehicle cleaning and inspections
Skills & Requirements:
Read and use a tape measure accurately
Solid understanding of hand and power tools (e.g., hammer, nail gun, drill, etc.)
Bring and maintain your own tools and use them safely and competently
Ability to problem-solve and think critically
Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
Willingness to learn carpentry and other specialized skills
OSHA 10 certification is required. OSHA 30 or other construction certifications is a plus.
Valid NV driver’s license (with no infractions) and ability to pass insurance screening
Able to pass drug and background checks
Physical Requirements:
Lift and carry up to 100 lbs
Work in all NV weather conditions (outside)
Stand, walk, crouch, stoop, climb ladders and scaffolding as needed
Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception required
Education & Experience:
High school diploma/GED or higher education (preferred)
Proven experience in window and door installation
Prior construction experience required; foreman experience is a plus
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM until job completion (typically around 4:00 PM), with overtime as needed.
