Las Vegas–based attorney seeks a reliable and experienced contract attorney to assist with the representation of clients facing civil infractions and criminal citations in courts throughout the Reno/Tahoe region.
This opportunity is ideal for a solo practitioner, semi-retired attorney, or anyone seeking flexible, supplemental income. Position is fully remote, so you will need your own office space.
Responsibilities include:
Representing clients in civil infraction and criminal citation matters in Reno/Tahoe area courts
Communicating with court staff regarding scheduling, filings, and case status
Preparing and filing motions and other necessary pleadings
Negotiating with prosecutors to resolve cases
Appearing in court as needed through the completion of each matter
Qualified applicants should be licensed to practice in Nevada, in good standing, and comfortable handling misdemeanor-level criminal matters and traffic-related cases.
