About the Role
You'll play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys across a diverse caseload, including divorce, child custody, personal injury, contract disputes, and more. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being an integral part of a collaborative legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence.
Conducting legal research and summarizing findings.
Managing and organizing case files, both physical and electronic.
Scheduling appointments, hearings, and depositions.
Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibit management and witness coordination.
What We're Looking For
Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong focus on family law and civil litigation.
Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to your work, ensuring accuracy in all documents and tasks.
Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and a willingness to support your colleagues.
Reliable & Punctual: A demonstrated history of excellent attendance and punctuality.
Strong Communication Skills: Both written and verbal.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in legal research platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Word Perfect, and case management software.
Non-Smoker Preferred: For the health and comfort of our team and clients.
