With a rapidly growing presence and a dedicated following of over 52K Instagram followers, we are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to elevate our online presence, engage with our audience, and showcase the unique experiences our properties offer.
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy across multiple platforms. You’ll create compelling content, grow our online community, and drive engagement and brand awareness. A deep understanding of social media trends and the luxury travel industry will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality content (images, videos, stories, and captions) that aligns with our brand aesthetic and voice.
- Plan and execute a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule that resonates with our audience.
- Collaborate with the creative team, influencers, and photographers to produce visually appealing and authentic content.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and build meaningful relationships with our community.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools; adjust strategies to meet key KPIs and growth goals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in the luxury travel and lifestyle space.
- Manage influencer partnerships and social media collaborations to maximize reach and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, particularly within the travel, hospitality, real estate or luxury sectors.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and other social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn, X, Google Business, etc.), including content creation, audience engagement, and growth strategies.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with social media analytics and tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
- A passion for travel, luxury experiences, and a strong understanding of the North Lake Tahoe region is a plus.
Requirements:
- This is a hybrid position with two days per week in our Tahoe City office.
- Reliable transportation is a must. This position frequently requires travel around North, East and West shores to film and gather content.
- Flexibility is essential. While the typical work hours are 9am to 5pm, the ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to adapt and be versatile when business needs arise, including occasional evenings, weekends, or special projects that may require immediate attention.
