About the job:
As a Cable Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling cable harnesses according to detailed instructions, ensuring quality and precision in every step. You will work with various tools and equipment to complete assemblies efficiently and accurately.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years of experience in cable harness assembly
- Is proficient in cable harness contact crimping and soldering
- Can read and interpret documents such as assembly drawings, work instructions, and BOMs
- Possesses strong hand-eye coordination and communication skills
- Has basic computer skills and a high school diploma or equivalent
- Is familiar with ISO-9000 standards (preferred)
What you'll do:
- Pull kits with assigned work order numbers from staging shelves
- Verify and count components according to the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Assemble cable harnesses following detailed instructions and prints
- Perform machine or hand cleaning of assemblies as required
- Utilize tools and equipment including label printers, soldering tools, cable testing equipment, and hardware
