A global electronic industry leader in South Reno, specializing in custom-built industrial surge protectors for data centers and critical infrastructure, is seeking an Assembler Lead to guide their dynamic production team. In this role, you'll serve as the go-to SME (Subject Matter Expert) on electro-mechanical assemblies, mentoring the team through complex builds, troubleshooting issues efficiently, and ensuring top-quality output from RMAs to PCA projects. You'll foster a collaborative environment, audit processes for peak SS scores, and keep workflows humming smoothly—ideal for those who thrive on initiative, safety, and turning challenges into team successes.
We're looking for candidates comfortable standing for 8–10-hour shifts, able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds, and with at least 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience. A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree in industrial electronics or a related field is preferred, or three years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Bring strong diagnostic skills (mechanical and electronic), the ability to interpret procedures, perform precise soldering, and communicate effectively across teams. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or ISO audits is a plus. This is a step up from entry-level—bring your expertise and enthusiasm.
This is a temp-to-hire full-time position, Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, with mandatory overtime as needed. Starting wage $20-24/hr DOE. Transition to permanent, and enjoy full health benefits (including vision and dental), plus 401k.
