We have two locations in Nevada. One is in south Reno and the other in Sparks.
Position Summary
Directs the financial/business office functions of the facility in a kind, professional manner. Responsible for the accurate reporting and billing of verified charges to the responsible party(ies), and the timely collection of these monies.

6 months ’ experience in billing, preferably in long term care environment.
Understands and implements healthcare reimbursement, billing and accounting principles.
Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills
Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public
Works collaboratively and independently, following procedures and making recommendations for improvements
Remains calm and professional in stressful situations
require experience with PCC
Responsibilities:
Maintains census and report status changes
Assists with Medi-Cal or Medicaid applications
Prepares TARS as needed
Tracks Medi-Cal and Medicaid redeterminations
Participates in billing and payment processes including preparing bank deposits
Responsible for collection bad debts
Other supervisory and/or leadership responsibilities as assigned
