Panther Self Storage is hiring for a part-time Relief Manager. The Relief Manager is an individual who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, carries a positive attitude and always performs with the upmost integrity. The Relief Manger generally works weekends and independently while under the supervision of the General Manager to operate the office and interact with customers at Panther Self Storage. In addition, the Relief Manager will monitor the facility grounds, periodically sweep out storage units, and as needed operate the company owned moving truck. The Relief Manager maintains the owner’s best interests at all times. Prior work experience in self-storage, property management, retail or restaurant industry is ideal, but not required. Office, sales, communication, computer skills and customer service skills are mandatory.
Hours: Generally, Saturday 830a - 5p & Sunday 930a - 4p (extra hours as needed for unit cleaning)
Compensation: Starts $17.00 - $19.00 / hour
Duration: Long term, part time
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
· Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers in person, on the phone and online
· Ensure the facility and office meets the highest of cleanliness standards
· Show and lease storage units
· Collect rent and post payments
· Proficient computer skills
· Sweep / Clean storage units
· Work closely with other staff members and coordinate with General Manager to provide the best storage experience to all our customers
Prerequisite: Valid driver’s license and pass Employer paid pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
