Location: Onsite at a Multifamily Property
We are seeking a bilingual Assistant Manager/Key Holder to support the daily operations of a
multifamily property.
This part-time role offers onsite housing in a complimentary 1-bedroom apartment (valued at
$1,300/month; utilities not included),
ideal for a responsible and proactive individual interested in property management.
Key Responsibilities
Work Schedule:
- Typically work 4-5 hours daily from 3 PM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday.
- Work 4-6 hours on Sundays between 10 AM and 4 PM.
- Be available for on-call responsibilities as needed to address emergencies and resident concerns.
Administrative Support:
- Work closely with the Community Manager to support day-to-day operations and maintain a high
standard of professionalism.
- Conduct regular property inspections, including common areas, units, and grounds.
- Ensure seamless move-in and move-out processes, including consistent inspections.
- Hand out and collect rental applications, providing guidance to prospective residents.
Customer Service:
- Foster positive relationships with residents, responding to their concerns promptly and
professionally.
- Post notices such as quarterly updates, rental opportunities, and policy changes.
- Assist in promoting a clean, safe, and well-maintained community by addressing resident concerns
and monitoring property upkeep.
- Ensure laundry rooms are clean and presentable.
Operational Support:
- Pick up garbage and ensure common areas are tidy.
- Monitor and maintain marketing materials, including balloons, banners, and other signage on the
street.
- Assist in obtaining proposals for community improvements, such as tree pruning or office upgrades
(e.g., A/C installation).
- Serve as the onsite point of contact for after-hours needs and emergencies.
Leasing & Marketing:
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the benefits of the community to prospective tenants.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive properties and market trends.
- Support the completion of leases and addenda, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
What You'll Bring:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is preferred.
- Reliable, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi,
AppFolio) is a plus.
