Experienced On-site Property Manager
Student Apartments Reno, Nevada
We are looking for an on-site property manager for our 41-unit (each unit has 4 bedrooms) student housing apartment complex in Reno, Nevada. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 am- 4:00 pm. There is an on-site maintenance person who has been with the property for 7 years. The current manager is retiring after 22 years with the company.
An ideal candidate has at least three to five years of experience in apartment property management. Experience with student housing a plus.
Job responsibilities:
Renting units
Rent collection and bank deposits
Marketing vacancies (posting ads, creating flyers)
Answering incoming calls, communicating with tenants, preparing tenant notices
Managing maintenance employee
Ensuring property is kept clean, including laundry and gym facilities
Enforcing apartment rules
Handling resident issues
Required skills and experience:
Three to five years of experience in apartment management
Knowledge and formal training of Fair Housing Rules and Regulations
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Customer service oriented
Good organization skills
Microsoft Office: Excel, Word
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
Monthly salary, paid semimonthly
