Position Overview:
As a Class C Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our company's operations by ensuring timely and safe delivery of plumbing, HVAC, and waterworks materials to our valued customers. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our products during transportation and providing exceptional customer service upon delivery.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class C delivery vehicle to transport plumbing, HVAC, and waterworks materials to designated locations.
Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transportation.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimize time management.
Provide courteous and professional customer service, including assisting with product placement upon delivery and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, or waterworks materials is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery instructions accurately.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
