Part-time job opening for an experienced retail store person or a college student with extensive retail store sales experince. The operating hours of the thrift store are from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, from Tuesday through Sunday; the store is closed on Monday. The hours for this position are from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, or 30 hours per week. Duties and responsibilities include store opening at 9:00 am and all related sales and inventory activities for a retail store including customer sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work on own initiative, is a quick learner, and has strong interpersonal skills with customer service experience in a retail store environment. The position is offered on a probationary basis of 90 days. If the successful candidate performs at a high level, then the per hour wage will increase form $14.00 an hour to $15.00 an hour. This position is offered on a 1099 basis.
