West Coast AV & Security, an established low voltage company in the Reno/Sparks area, is seeking a full time Technician for Home Automation, Smart Home (Control4) and AV Installations.
Job specifications to include:
·Home Automation, Smart Home (Control4)
·Bidding and completing installations and service calls.
·Will be responsible for ensuring installed equipment meets the required specifications, is installed correctly and timely.
·This position is responsible for organizing and supervising the installation of integrated systems.
·Physical aspects of the job include low voltage installations, carrying and climbing ladders, running video, CAT6
·Required Skills:
·A minimum of 2-5 years of AV experience, including (but not limited to): Home Automation, Control4 (not required), networking, hanging and programming TV’s, receivers, amplifiers, cameras, NVR systems, etc.
·This job requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise in the field.
·This is a fast paced company, strong project management and organizational skills are required
Applicants must have their own tools, reliable transportation, a clean criminal and driving record. Potential candidates will be pre-screened for drugs and must pass a background check. Applicant must present a professional appearance and be flexible to working overtime when needed.
Additional Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Be authorized to work in the United States
Must be 18+ years old
Good Communication skills
Detail oriented
Must be able to lift a minimum of 80 lbs
Valid Driver's License
OSHA 10 Certification, or ability to obtain immediately upon hire
Cell phone with ability to send/receive email, text and pictures
