Alert Services is a small privately owned business looking for Sharp, Reliable, and Self Motivated Security Guards to join our Professional Team as we grow to our fullest potential.
ALL Candidates MUST:
CURRENTLY POSSESS AN Unarmed Security Guard Card or Provisional letter issued by the PILB (https://nevadapilb.glsuite.us). Applicants obtaining a Security Card must have a Provisional in order to be hired
TAM® Card (also called Alcohol Beverage Awareness Card) ARE REQUIRED FOR ANY POSITION
Be 21 years old or older
Have 1yr of consistent experience as a Security Guard; Individuals with 3yrs experience in Supermarkets, Medical facilities, and/or Vehicle Patrols are needed. Military experience a PLUS
Have the ability to read/write in English or Espanol; Bilingual speakers are preferred Have have RELIABLE transportation and phone Be able to work in a drug free environment
Have High School diploma or equivalent Post Information/Requirements: Post: Supermarkets/Grocery Stores Times: 3pm-6am (TIMES CHANGE DEPENDING ON LOCATION)
This is a HIGHLY VISIBLE post that could be mentally/physically demanding and requires all security guard to have the ability to help maintain a drug free and safe environment.
Excellent customer service skills and the basic knowledge in the roles of a security guard is an absolute must.
Security Guards will be walking/standing for long periods of time.
Security Guards will be conducting personal escorts and providing overwatch support
Ability to read/write in english or espanol is a must
Security Guards must be able to remain calm and make professional decisions during stressful situations.
Have the knowledge and capability to professionally deter vagrants and/or shoplifters off facility premises, as well as warn persons of any rules or regulations discrepancies in or around the establishments.
Have the ability to call medical/emergency responses when needed
Individuals with flexible schedules and/or capable of working overtime are preferred
