Role Overview
As a Business Broker Agent, you’ll help clients buy and sell businesses, manage relationships, facilitate negotiations, and maintain a deep understanding of the Northern Nevada market. You’ll use industry-leading technology, training, and mentorship to build your book of business and drive your own success.
Key Responsibilities
Source and secure new business listings via outreach, networking, and referrals
Guide business owners through valuation, listing, and sales process
Negotiate offers and support clients through due diligence and closing
Maintain accurate records in CRM and leverage Transworld’s resources (Deal Stats, BOV, SharePoint, etc.)
Build trust and long-term relationships with clients and partners
Requirements
Active Nevada Real Estate License (required)
Nevada Business Broker Permit (preferred; must be obtained if not currently held)
Based in Reno or surrounding area (local presence required)
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Analytical and strategic thinking (can be taught)
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable with 100% commission-based income
Computer/technical literacy (CRM, online training, marketing tools)
High degree of integrity and confidentiality
