We are looking for a Business Development Representative Your role will be to nurture existing / seek new business opportunities by contacting / developing relationships with existing and potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should be outgoing / positive, have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with clients, from first contact until you close the deal. You will ensure proper after-sales service. Responsibilities

Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies

Building business relationships with current and potential clients

Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)

Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts

Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences

Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information

Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process

Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals

Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software

Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

Present our company to potential clients

Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction

Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives

Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Develop and Implement “Sales Process” company wide to include all divisions to meet demand and push further growth.

Choose and Implement new most effective CRM for projected future growth. To include proper tracking of metrics, close rates, etc. and complete transparent displays posted on screens in office in real time.

Handle all “Inbound” traffic to insure clients are being taken care of and that quotes are being delivered on time.

Pro-active “Outbound” push: Reach out to known opportunities for potential Sales / Partnerships, currently not being address due to workload constraints.

Take active role in follow up process and current missed opportunities due to current constraints.

Develop Sales teams as business continues to grow. To include recruiting, hiring and development of compensation / pay for performance packages.

Assist to some degree with Project Management to insure that what is being sold is also being produced and delivered on time / budget. To work in tandem with production team / Construction PM.

Skills

Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role

Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

Track record of achieving sales quotas

Experience with CRM software

Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)

Understanding of sales performance metrics

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to deliver engaging presentations

Related industry experience a plus: Construction, Interior Design, Painting etc.
