Looking for an experienced Deep Tissue Nevada License Massage Therapist as an Independent contractor to join our dynamic team. We have created a Massage & Wellness Center on Kingsbury Grade that offers specialty body work, massage and Chiropractic care and right next door to Tahoe Blue Yoga.
Our office specializes in helping others feel their best and promoting healthy mindsets among our clients and community. We focus on therapeutic and rehabilitative massage. We're looking for someone with a passion for facilitating healing and relaxation through massage therapy.
Shift are flexible on weekends, and half shifts on Mondays & Tuesdays with a couple hours on Wednesday & Friday mornings. Two to three sessions max depending on your choice of hours or shifts.
Requirements:
Hold a valid state of Nevada massage license
Have own liability practice insurance( which you can get through ABMP for $100)
Provide your sheets, lotion, and cleaning wipes.( can be provided for a charge if needed)
Responsibilities:
-Provide a 60- to 90-minute Deep tissue massages session
-Design sessions around patients' specific complaints or problem areas
-Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs.
-Responsibilities include management of client payments for services rendered, cleaning own sheets after work shift, and cleaning space to COVID-19 standards after each session.
Qualifications:
-Self-motivated, friendly, reliable, accountable, professional.
-Enjoys what they do and loves helping people.
-Proficient in Swedish, Deep Tissue, other modalities a plus.
-Reliable transportation required.
-Excellent verbal communication skills and must.
