BlackHeart Bike Company is a manufacturer of titanium and aluminum road, allroad, and gravel bikes.
We are hiring a part time / flexible mechanic to build bikes on your schedule.
Pay is $100 per build, which should equate to $50/hr for a skilled mechanic (2 hrs/build). We would try and stack 4 builds in an 8 hr day for example.
Opportunity to grow into a full time role with benefits, eventually overseeing production, inventory, and additional roles as desired.
Must have basic bike mechanic skills:
- Mechanically inclined
- General familiarity
- Mechanical shifting install and setup
Willing to train on:
- Frame prep
- Electronic shifting (Shimano, SRAM, Campy)
- Hydraulic brake install and bleed
- Tubeless tire setup
We have the space and all the tools. You jut need to show up and build on your schedule.
