We are a well established local home builder and remodel construction company looking for individuals willing to work and learn about the construction trades to join our team. We are a multi-trade general contractor looking for an individual that would like to learn and expand their skillset in many different areas of construction. Most projects are in the Reno/sparks area. Additional compensation for Tahoe work if it arises.
We will be conducting open in-person interviews Thursday 1/25/23 8am- 11am and Friday 1/26/23 from 2pm-330pm with a basic carpentry skills test to assess basic journeyman abilities. See attached picture for example. All tools and materials will be provided for this skills test.
Prior construction experience of at least 2 years required. Must have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation to and from project sites, ability to lift at least 50lbs, basic tools (large tools and equipment will be supplied), speak English and a good attitude.
This is a full time hourly position (40hr work week). Occasional overtime if desired
Bonuses, Paid vacation and sick time after 6 months
THIS IS NOT a piecework or subcontracting position. If you are looking for piecework or subcontracting. We have framing piece work positions available periodically however, this position is for a finish carpenter/remodeler only.
