Job Description:
As a Mechanic at Battle Born Tree Service LLC., you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our diverse range of equipment and vehicles, including tree trimming machinery, chippers, stump grinders, and trucks. Your expertise will help us minimize downtime and enhance our capacity to serve our clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on all company vehicles and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
- Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training staff on basic equipment operation and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL a PLUS but not required.
