Growing independent classic hot rod and general auto repair shop looking for a professional journey level auto mechanic.
Previous automotive experience required (ASE certifications preferred, but not required)
Ability to perform quality services and repair on various makes and models without supervision, in a timely fashion
Must have demonstrated experience operating automotive repair shop equipment
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must have an appropriate mechanic's tool set
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
JOB SKILLS MUST INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Engine diagnosis, installation, and rebuild
Transmission removal and assembly
Fuel systems diagnostics and repair
Electrical troubleshooting
Oil changes, brake work, and basic maintenance
Air conditioning diagnosis and repair
Welding and fabrication
Strong attention to detail
Properly utilize work orders to insure adequate workflow administration
Select appropriate course of action for repairs
